Brailsford & Hulland Medical Practice is seeking to welcome an enthusiastic, committed individual to join us as a Salaried General Practitioner at our friendly, well established practice. We are a rural surgery combining the valued elements of a traditional family practice, with a progressive, forward thinking outlook.
We offer personalised primary care within our loyal team of long-standing, highly skilled staff including clinicians, nursing, dispensary, reception and administration team.
Our team boasts first-rate administration support and document management, taking on a wealth of responsibilities, allowing GPs to concentrate on their clinical duties.
Our patient list size is approximately 6000 patients, which is increasing with new local housing developments. We are a dispensing practice with largely rural registered population.
The practice has purpose built premises with a branch surgery; we cover a wide geographical area with lovely mix of patients ranging from rural farms to large villages on the outskirts of Ashbourne.
We are part of the Primary Care Network (Derbyshire Dales), with strong links to local surgeries; meaning good information exchange.
The practice benefits from involvement in the local Primary Care Hub (South Dales HealthCare) providing much needed extended hours access to our patients.
The practice holds monthly practice meetings for continuing professional development covering community nursing, palliative care, safeguarding, learning events and practice development,
At the time of recruitment, the practice will consist of a 2 GP partnership with 2 long standing salaried GPs (1 WTE). There is the opportunity to join the current partnership for the right candidate but no obligation.
We have flexibility on sessions and days required – with a minimum of 4 sessions and up to a 6 session vacancy available. We require a working week to include Monday or Friday with other days to be discussed with the successful candidate.
Excellent remuneration - £10k plus exact salary depending on experience. Membership of the NHS pension scheme, 6 weeks holiday and pro rata bank holiday allowance and study leave provision.
